2026 annual report – pact for the future: two years on

At the midpoint between the adoption of the Pact for the Future in 2024 and its mandated 2028 review, C4UN’s 2026 Annual Report, Pact for the Future: Two Years On, provides a civil-society-driven, independent and forward-looking assessment of progress in implementing the Pact’s 56 Actions and two Annexes.
Drawing on C4UN’s Regional Futures Forums and ImPact Coalitions, the report tracks progress and gaps in implementation, promotes accountability and transparency, and offers a strategic tool for civil society and other stakeholders working to advance the Pact for the Future. Looking toward 2028, it underscores that realizing the Pact’s promise will require sustained multi-stakeholder engagement and collective action to translate international consensus into meaningful reform of the multilateral system.
